Welcome to AIAS-UNM
At the University of New Mexico School of Architecture and Planning, the AIAS chapter is returning to playing an important role in the undergraduate architecture student's life. The current corps of officers have rededicated the organization to the students and their needs. We feel that there is a need and an opportunity for the organization to serve as a vehicle for students, in whichever manner they so choose, to have their voices heard. Enabling the organization to function as such will be the primary goal of this year's officers. This year we will also focus on cultivating a more
sustainable chapter from one group of officers to the next by formalizing and streamlining the organization. Finally, we are still focused on providing the social functions that have become such an important outlet in keeping our sanity during the melee that is the school year. On behalf of all your 2005/2006 officers, I can say that we are excited and hopeful that the organization will achieve new heights this year and we sincerely hope you will be a part of it.
